Enchanted Café...

Halloween is just around the corner. Do you have any plans yet? If no, you might want to pay attention to this article. Honestly, I don’t celebrate Halloween at all, or should I say Singaporeans are not into Halloween celebration as compared elsewhere (Western countries) where you see people dress up in creepy costumes going around asking for sweet treats. Sadly, we do not practice this tradition as much in Singapore. Instead, we spent this occasion with our loved ones over a simple gathering or meal.

In lieu of Halloween, Enchanted Café has launched a special menu (from now till end October) that comes with a choice of drink, main, soup & dessert at $34 nett, and $66.60 nett for two. On top of that, there’s a short Halloween skit at the end of your meal which I thought was funny and engaging. So, if you want to spook things up a little with your loved ones, check out Enchanted Café’s Halloween Menu. P/s: The place gives off a very good Halloween vibe with its rustic outlook and ornaments!

Are you ready for the Halloween feast? Here’s some pictures of Enchanted Café’s special Halloween menu for the month of October!

Butterbeer from Hell
The combination of Butter, Apple Cider Vinegar and Brown Sugar was not too bad! It was refreshing, with a well-balanced sour-sweet taste. The whipped cream was smooth as well.

Witche and Potion
I preferred this drink as compared to the Butter from Hell. Made from Vanilla, Milk & Organic Charcoal, this drink had a strong vanilla flavour and it wasn’t overly sweet. Also, it wasn’t too heavy that you feel like you’re gonna get a sore throat the next day.

Forest Truffle Mushroom Soup
It definitely had a strong and rich mushroom flavour but I thought the truffle flavour could be a little stronger

Black Magic Curse
This will be a hit among the cheese-lover! The macaroni was cheesy and I thought the portion was just right (in case it gets too heavy if the portion is too much). Macaroni was not too soft or too tough.

Gutted to Death
The pasta was a bit too sweet for me, with a strong tomato flavour. It will be good if it was a little spicier.

Sweet Nightmare
The cake was chocolatey and not too sweet. It was relatively moist and fluffy. A good way to end the Halloween meal.

Hansel's & Gretel's Cake
This cake is so pretty, I couldn’t bear myself to eat it. I thought the cakes was going to taste artificial and sweet from the colours I see, but it turns out otherwise. Cake was moist and very pleasurable to the taste buds.

Spoiler Alert: Sneak preview of what the short Halloween skit is all about – Witch & Portion. I don’t want to spoil the surprise because you should totally check out yourself!
