Caffe Pralet...

It’s been a good one year since I’ve last visited Caffe Pralet and I was pleasantly surprised by the changes it underwent during my recent visit. This hidden gem at Eng Hoon Street has revamped its space with new tables and chairs, making the café cosier. Also, they have rolled out a brand new menu that features Asian-fusion rice bowls during the weekdays (for all office-goers) and modern fusion dishes during the weekends (perfect place for a meal with family and friends). This new menu is a notch higher than the previous one, in terms of creativity, flavour and presentation. Not forgetting their delicious cakes and pastries which won me hands down again. So, if you haven’t check out this café yet, it’s time you pay them a visit with your loved ones!

The new dishes are better presented, more flavourful and definitely very Instagram-worthy! They were generous with the servings and it was a very satisfying meal. In frame, Har Jeong Gai Charcoal Burger, Roasted Sesame Chicken Donburi, Chilli Crab Cheese Fries and Ki Phrik Kwan.

Soursop Passionfruit & Red Berry
The drinks at Caffe Pralet are fresh and very refreshing, perfect for the heaty weather nowadays. Ordered their Soursop Passionfruit again because I really miss having it! Generous servings of soursop!

Chilli Crab Cheese Fries // $12
No joke but this was seriously too addictive! The chilli crab sauce was flavourful and you can really find real shredded crab meat in the fries. It was a great combination! Highly recommended!

Ki Phrik Kwan // $17
This thin crusted pizza was crispy and flavourful. It consists of Thai Style Sweet Chilli Chicken (which was damn shiok lah), Peanut Sauce (enhance the fragrance and adds a nutty flavour), Pineapples, Red Onions, Mozarella, Coconut Yoghurt, Roasted Peanuts and Coriander. Everything just complemented one another very well. Portion is huge as well. Very filling!

Roasted Sesame Chicken Donburi // $14
This whole bowl of goodness consists of well-cooked rice, truffle Shimeiji mushrooms, garlic cherry tomatoes, toasted sesame and furikake. The chicken was well-marinated and flavourful, with a tint of sesame aroma. Truffle mushrooms were to die for, if you are a truffle-lover.

Har Jeong Gai Charcoal Burger // $17
I will definitely order this again during my next visit to Caffe Pralet. The charcoal buns were really soft and the prawn paste chicken was well-marinated, crispy and flavourful. Fries were well-seasoned with 10 different spices.

The cakes and pastries at Caffe Pralet never fails to disappoint. They are rich in flavour and super moist. Best way to end off a hearty meal – cakes and teas.
