52 Sandwich Shack...

Named as one of the ‘Must-Visit’ dessert places in Singapore by several online platforms, Nesuto has recently added some savoury dishes (simple, unpretentious but comforting food) into their menu. You can expect to see refreshing salads and delicious toasts. On top of that, Nesuto will be opening a brand new concept – 52 Sandwich Shack which essentially is a sandwich kiosk that offers stretching cheese sandwiches with different complements at Raffles City (combining with Koki Tamagoyaki) on 12th October 2017. The sandwiches reminded me of the delicious toasts I had at Issac Toast in Korea, but with a slight local twist. So, if you are looking for a quick lunch or dinner fix, you should totally check out this new sandwich kiosk!

Never a boring day with a good sandwich, and it provides fuel for you to last the entire day! It’s also a good snack during tea break! For people who are always rushing to/for work, 52 Sandwich Shack is fast, convenient and most importantly, satisfies your stomach!

Baby Spinach (Only available at Nesuto)
The salad was very refreshing with a strong but not overpowering ginger aroma and flavour. It had a strong resemblance to Hainanese Chicken Rice, in terms of the flavour. I also enjoyed the well-cooked egg which was soft and melty. Perfect for all people who are trying to slim down! I would definitely order this again!

Salmon Avocado (Only available at Nesuto)
Nothing beats the combination of salmon and avocado! Even though it may seems to be relatively simple, this salmon-avocado on sourdough was very comforting. Salmon was fresh, melty, & it paired well with the avocado. Another healthy and non-oily dish for the health-conscious crowd!

Yakiniku Pulled Pork (Available at Nesuto & 52 Sandwich Shack)
The pulled pork was flavourful, tender and juicy. They also added good amount of yakiniku sauce on the pork, enhancing the flavour of the sandwich. Paired with cheddar cheese, the combination is deadly!

Tomato Ceviche (Only available at 52 Sandwich Shack)
Tomato was well-marinated, juicy and not sour at all. It was soft and sweet.

Trio Cheese (Only available at 52 Sandwich Shack)
This is definitely created for the cheese-lovers! The Cheddar-Mozzarella-Fontina combination is gooey and very stretchy. Remember to snap a photo of you pulling the cheese! Sandwich was definitely well-toasted!

Gyu & Onsen Egg (Only available at 52 Sandwich Shack)
This was my favourite dish at the tasting. Beef was flavourful, tender and very juicy. It was so good that I was still eating even though my stomach is on the verge of bursting. The onsen egg was boiled to perfection. It was super runny. Drizzle it on the beef and damn, why so good ah? A must-try, especially on bad days – makes you happy instantly!
