Cinnamoroll x Kumoya Singapore...

Good news to all Cinnamoroll’s fans! To commemorate Cinnamoroll’s 15th anniversary, say ‘Konnichiwa” to Sanrio’s collaboration pop up café with Kumoya in Singapore. Besides being the first-ever Cinnamoroll pop up café in Singapore, it is also the first Halal-certified character-themed café. I bet all my Muslim friends are all exhilarating with joy right now!

Breaking the common stereotype of character-themed café being only aesthetically-pleasing and overpriced, the Cinnamoroll café actually serves edible and tasty dishes at a relatively reasonable price. The menu is not only designed to suit the theme, but also carefully-curated to ensure its flavour and texture are up to par.

Available tomorrow till 13th August 2017 (be prepared to queue), this is one pop up café you must visit. Also, get your camera ready because you’ll be taking a hell lots of pictures! By the way, Cinnamoroll is a dog, and not a bunny!

Running over a period of three months, be the first few to try this specially curated limited edition menu as well as soaked in the World of Happiness with Cinnamoroll! Anyway, blue is my favourite colour!

Cutie Cutie Special Cinnamoroll Blue Soda // $14.90
Blue curacao syrup with nata de coco, slice of lemon and soda water. Topped with a cute cotton candy Cinnamoroll!
If you are looking for an Instagram-worthy drink as well as a drink to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is what you should order! One thing to take note: get your camera ready because the cotton candy melts very fast. You want to snap a nice picture of it before it becomes real old and ugly!

Kiss Me Sweet Cafe Latte // $8.90
Nice hot Latte brewed to perfection from UCC Japanese coffee beans.
Don’t judge its cute appearance, the latte was pretty strong and aromatic! The Cinnamoroll’s ears are actually sugar and I would suggest dipping them into the coffee (don’t eat them by its own, too sweet). Can you also see the cute butter biscuit at the bottom? It’s good!

Fluffy Dreams Japanese Curry Rice // $21.90
Cinnamoroll fluffy Japanese rice accompanied by Kumoya’s signature Japanese curry, fresh tempura salmon and mixed salad with cherry tomato.
The curry was aromatic. I could smell it from a distance away. It was not overly sweet, definitely complemented the rice and tempura salmon very well. The salmon was not over-fried, not too oily and very well-marinated. Outside crispy and soft on the inside. I was very satisfied!

Happy Happy Heart Chicken Karaage with Waffles // $19.90
Kumoya’s favourite buttery waffles paired with juicy karaage chicken with house-made sweet shoyu glaze, mixed salad with cherry tomato, fluffy potato hearts and a Cinnamoroll mantou.
This was one of my favourite dish at Cinnamoroll café. The karagge chicken was to die for. It was well-marinated and I love the sweet shoyu glaze which was so addictive. Waffles were not bad – soft and fluffy. Thank god it was not dry as well. A must-try!

Fly-in-the Clouds Yuzu Chiffon Cake // $15.90
Yuzu infused chiffon cake accompanied by fresh cream with mixed berries and fluffy cotton candy.
The cake itself was surprisingly good. I thought it was going to be very sweet but it was not. It was soft and moist. The yuzu flavour was very strong as well.

Kumoya Signature Eclairs // Set of 4 at $13.90 & Set of 2 at $7.90
Four limited-edition Cinnamoroll Eclairs designed with chocolate and vanilla fillings.
This mini bite-sized eclairs are so sinfully addictive! Personally, I prefer the chocolate one since I’m a huge chocolate fan! Perfect for a surprise gift as well!

Cinnamoroll Berries Fantasy Parfait // $17.90
Special double swirl parfait, soft soufflé cheesecake, mixed berries and limited-edition macarons. Served with specially concocted Blue Lagoon sauce and fluffy cotton candy.
I have always been impressed with the parfait at Kumoya Singapore. This was no exception! The ice cream was soft and flavourful. Before you know it, I finished the entire softserve all by myself. Cheesecakes and macarons were very delicious as well. You’ll regret if you don’t order this!
